What to do when your student is absent

Follow the steps below when your student is going to absent.

1. Call the school to report the absence on the day of...

You are also welcome to call us in the morning to advise at 804-768-6156.

If you know your student will be out tomorrow or in the near future, call to advise us ahead of time.

Use this form to complete the information for the student’s absence. You can enter more than one date on the form. You must fill one out for each student who is absent.

2. Bring a doctor or appointment note the following day

You will receive a robocall to advise of the student’s absence. Send a note or copy of the doctor's note (or other valid reason) to submit to the clinic.
